Valentina Gomez -
In the March 3, 2026, Republican primary for Texas’s 31st Congressional District, challenger Valentina Gomez, 26, claimed the election was rigged to favor incumbent Representative John Carter, 84.
Valentina Gomez (full name Valentina Gomez Noriega) is a Colombian-born American far-right political candidate, social media influencer, and former NCAA Division I swimmer known for her provocative, attention-grabbing campaigns and controversial statements.
She was born on May 8, 1999, in Medellín, Colombia. Her family immigrated to the United States in 2009 when she was around 10 years old, seeking the "American Dream," with her family having military ties and moving frequently. Gomez excelled in swimming, earning athletic scholarships that funded her education. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in 2019 (at age 19-20). She then earned an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2020. She swam for Tulane's women's swimming and diving team (NCAA Division I) and was involved in campus activities, such as serving as the first female vice-president of the Hispanic Business Council. She has worked in finance (including at Nestlé Purina in roles related to financial and strategic optimization) and as a real estate investor managing multimillion-dollar investments. She describes herself as a financier, strategist, and real estate investor.
Gomez entered politics as a Republican. In 2024, she ran for Missouri Secretary of State but finished sixth in the GOP primary with under 8% of the vote. Her campaign featured highly controversial stunts and rhetoric, including videos where she used inflammatory language (e.g., telling people not to be "weak and gay," burning books she labeled as "grooming" materials from libraries, and other provocative acts targeting LGBTQ+ content, immigrants, Muslims, and others). These drew widespread criticism, platform restrictions (e.g., from X/Twitter for hateful conduct), and media coverage labeling her as an extremist.
After her Missouri loss, she relocated and launched a bid for U.S. House in Texas's 31st Congressional District as a Republican challenger. She filed candidacy in early 2025 and appeared on the March 3, 2026, Republican primary ballot. In an early March 4 post on X, Ms. Gomez stated she had “video evidence” of tampering with voting machines that benefited Mr. Carter. She said she would release it only if former President Donald J. Trump, Susie Wiles, Senator Marco Rubio, and Elon Musk guaranteed her legal immunity, warning that publication could lead to imprisonment. She added, “All of our elections are rigged.”
The claims follow other campaign controversies for Ms. Gomez, including the February suspension of her voter registration in Bell County for listing a post office box as her residence (a technical violation unrelated to ballot eligibility or vote counting) and her exclusion from Williamson County Republican Party events after confronting Mr. Carter and questioning his fitness for office.

John Carter Is Joe Biden 2.0 — Just With an (R) Next to His Name
John Carter turned 84 this cycle.
Born in 1941. First elected to Congress in 2003. That’s 23 years sucking on the DC teat.
He’s missed hundreds of votes. He looks frail. He sounds out of it. And the establishment wants you to believe this geriatric career politician is “steady leadership.”
Sound familiar?
This is exactly what they tried to sell us with Biden — “sharp as a tack,” “experienced,” “don’t you dare question his fitness.”
We saw how that movie ended. Now the RINOs are running the exact same con in Texas.
Carter isn’t “experienced.”
He’s expired.
While he’s been collecting a taxpayer-funded paycheck for two decades, America got open borders, endless wars, and a swamp that got deeper and smellier. Valentina Gomez is 26. She swam D1. Earned an MBA. Built a real estate portfolio. Served Jesus Christ unapologetically. And she’s running because she’s sick of watching dinosaurs like Carter sell out the America First agenda.
As of early March 4, no formal complaint or lawsuit regarding machine tampering had been filed yet.
The episode underscores ongoing debates over generational renewal, election integrity concerns in conservative circles, and the influence of social media in modern campaigns. Official results await certification in the coming weeks.
We don’t need more 80-year-old fossils who’ve been in Washington longer than most Americans have been alive. We need YOUNG & UNCOMPROMISING voices who actually remember what the country is supposed to be.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued a legal advisory on election integrity and launched an email tip line ([email protected]) where the public may report suspected violations of Texas election law.
